1. Definitions
"We", "us" or "our" refers to Re-Finished Surface Restoration, Newport. "You" or "your" refers to the customer requesting or receiving services.
2. Quotes & estimates
All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days. Quotes are based on the information and photos supplied; significant differences between the quoted condition and the actual surface may require re-quoting.
3. Booking & deposit
Bookings are confirmed once a written acceptance is received. A deposit may be required to secure your installation slot, particularly for commercial or multi-surface work.
4. Work scope
Work is carried out to the scope agreed in writing. Additional work is only undertaken with prior written agreement and may be subject to additional cost.
5. Access & site conditions
You agree to provide safe access to the work area, working power and adequate ventilation. Pets and children should be kept away from the work area during the application period.
6. Aftercare
All work is carried out using industrial-grade two-part coating systems applied to manufacturer specification. Long-term performance is conditional on adherence to the written aftercare instructions provided at handover.
7. Exclusions
We accept no liability for damage caused by impact, abrasive cleaners, chemical spills, neglect or third-party work performed on the surface after handover.
8. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payment may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel a booking with at least 48 hours' notice without charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may be charged at the daily site rate.
10. Liability
We are fully insured. Our liability is limited to the cost of remedying the defect or, where remediation is not possible, to the value of the work invoiced. We accept no liability for consequential losses.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
