Kitchen Cabinet Spraying: 2025 UK Cost & Timeline Guide

    8 July 2025 6 min readBy Re-Finished Team
Modern shaker kitchen with freshly resprayed deep navy blue cabinet doors and brushed brass handles — kitchen cabinet spraying cost guide

A new fitted kitchen in 2025 starts at around £8,000 and frequently exceeds £20,000 once worktops, appliances and fitting are included. A professional spray respray of your existing cabinets typically falls between £1,200 and £2,800 — and is finished inside a week.

What's included in a professional respray

    • Door and drawer-front removal, off-site spraying in a controlled environment.
    • On-site spraying of carcass-fronts and end panels with full masking.
    • Bonding primer rated for laminate, MDF and timber.
    • 2K polyurethane topcoat for hard-wear durability.
    • Full reinstall, soft-close adjustment and hand-back.

    Timeline

Most kitchens are sprayed and reinstalled within 5–7 working days. The kitchen remains usable throughout — only door fronts are removed off-site.

    Finish options

Matt, satin or gloss in any RAL or BS colour. Farrow & Ball and Little Greene matched routinely. We'll bring sample sprayed swatches before the job.
